I'll be heading back to the Kimberley in 2012 to conduct the "Creek with No Name" solo expedition, exploring some little known coastal creek systems feeding into the Admiralty Gulf - so rugged, the only way in and out is by helicopter.... can't wait to get back up there, to my "second home"....
Just saw the Kimberely Adventure 'Remote River Man' on Foxtel. What an adventurer and what an adventure. That's the way to do it. Done 4 similar walks in various parts of the Kimberely, both alone and with my Bro. They were exciting and truly satisfying...we both would love to do it for more than the 2-3 weeks that we had. Your 7 weeks would allow someone to really get out there and amongst it all....certainly one day we will. Keep up that pioneering spirit, and without the need of anything more than your own 2 feet!!
