Hi Kevin

Are you happy to pass on details of guides you've used?

Hi William - I rarely use them, to be honest - I usually go solo. The wonderful guide I used in Guyana, Joe Fencer, sadly passed away from diabetes-related complications a few years ago, but I met him through Ashley Holland, who is probably the most knowledgeable and experienced jungle guide in Guyana. He's easy to Google. In Gabon, I used the only Englishh speaking tour guides in the entire country (A Gabonese man and his French wife), but can't recall their names, sorry. In Terrace, British Columbia I had no guide, but did organise a boat trip to my start point with a great local guy named Geoff McKay, who I believe is a school principal up that way. Cheers,
